30 Days No Added Sugar Diet Plan - Part 2

Well, it's been 2 weeks since I started the "30 Days No Added Sugar Diet Plan – Part 1", and I have to admit; it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be :)

 

During the last 2 weeks; I did actually manage to omit added sugar from all my beverages, which include tea, coffee and Nescafe. Plus I stopped consuming any of ready packaged biscuits, chocolates, some snacks, fruit juices and any food product that contain sugar in its ingredients (except for bread). Instead, I focused on fresh fruits, fruit juices, resins, dates, and herb drinks.

 

But when it came to homemade sweets, my resistance didn't last for long :) I did cheat on some occasions, such as family gatherings and friends birthdays, cause it was really difficult to keep it together, but my consumption was not as the quantities that I would eat usually, I had more control on how much to eat of these delicious sweets.

 

Well the challenge isn't over yet, and am still going to keep on avoiding added sugar as possible, waiting to test my blood sugar level again after 2 weeks.
